The Norwin Band Aides support the Norwin High School Band and Guard by seeking financial support from or in-kind services from businesses, organizations, and members of the community. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides opportunities for students to have an enriching performing arts education and opportunities beyond those which the Norwin School District can provide.

Please consider supporting the 100th year of our award-winning Marching Band and Guard programs for the 2023-2024 school year.

We are seeking contributions from you to augment the funds raised through student participation fees and community fundraising. Your donation helps our ensembles cover expenses including travel, music royalties, instruction, and uniforms necessary to provide students with life-changing performance opportunities.

This year, we are embarking on another epic season. This year’s season will include participation in 4 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association (PIMBA) competitions and the Bands of America (BOA) 2023 Ohio Regional Championship at the University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio where the band will proudly represent the Norwin community. At this event, they will perform with 20 other marching bands from all over the area. This will be Norwin’s first appearance at this regional.

With great opportunities like this one, there is always an expense transporting, feeding, and housing 140 students. The cost continues to grow, and although the students are asked to pay their fair share into the activity, these costs continue to increase. Donations like yours ensure that the Norwin Band Aides can continue to fund opportunities like these.

Below, you will find different avenues to sponsor, donate, or support the Band and Guard this season. The Norwin Band Aides want every Norwin student to have the opportunity to participate and excel in the performing arts. As a sponsor, you have a unique opportunity to change a student’s life.

In return, sponsors are acknowledged at the fall Norwin Band Festival and year-round on our social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat) and website, www.norwinband.net.

Friend of the Band Level Sponsorship - $50

● Friend of the Band and Guard Window Decal.

100th Anniversary Level Sponsorship - $100

● Friend of the Band and Guard Window Decal and framed photo of Norwin Marching band.

Bronze Level Sponsorship - $150 and above

● 1/4-page black and white advertisement in Norwin Band Festival official program book.

● 6 tickets to the Norwin Band Festival, TRWEA Color Guard competition, and

the WGI Color Guard regional competition held at Norwin High School upon request.

● Sponsor name on the Band Camp T-shirts.

● One copy of this year’s festival program book upon request.

● Friend of the Band and Guard Window Sticker.

Silver Level Sponsorship - $250 and above

Bronze Level Plus:

● 1/2-page black and white advertisement in Norwin Band Festival official program book.

Gold Level Sponsorship - $500 and above

Silver Level Plus:

● Full-page black and white advertisement in Norwin Band Festival official program book.

● Corporate name added to banner displayed at Norwin Band Festival.

Platinum Level Sponsorship - $1,000 and above

Gold Level Plus:

● Half-page color advertisement in Norwin Band Festival official program book.

Director’s Circle Level Sponsorship - $2,000 and above

Platinum Level Plus:

● Full page color advertisement on Norwin Band Festival official program book.

● Sponsorship Thank You basket provided at Norwin Band Festival.

The Norwin High School Band is also seeking in-kind contributions from you to augment the monetary fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.

Some of the examples of in-kind donations are:

● Building materials for our props department – wood, plywood, screws, wheels.

● Lunches for students during Band Camp for 2 weeks in August.

● Snacks/drinks for trips to various local competitions.

● Dinner for Senior Night event.

● Gift Baskets for various events.

● Cookie trays for various events.

● Candy for Candy Grams.

● Goods that could be sold via Band’s concession at Norwin Stadium (not limited to drinks/food items).

● Moving trucks and supplies.
